In one of the most theatrical compositions in the collection, Diane Webber lies across a black velvet-draped table, posed in dramatic profile. Her figure is elegantly extended, back slightly arched, as tendrils of steam rise from the background to reveal a shadowy, devil-like figure behind her. The lighting is rich with contrast—highlighting her form while shrouding the background in smoky suggestion. It’s a surreal and sensual blend of classic pin-up and fantasy tableau.
